ROYAL TOUR AND WEDDING FASHION

Photo: David Kawai, The Ottawa Citizen

William and Catherine visited the National War Museum in Ottawa and spoke to veterans and their families.
Catherine is channelling a bit of Carla Bruni in this sleek grey, slightly retro, very chic dress -
just right for Montreal later in the day.

The Canadian National War Museum is located in this stunning building on the banks of the Ottawa River.
The Cambridges had to have been impressed.

On the previous night, a Canada Day party was a must.
Naturally a party dress was required:

The extravaganza continues in Monaco:

Love love love Charlene's wedding dress by Armani

and how sweet are the attendants, in a folk style costume .... so pretty!

  1. Patricia, When I was a child I sometimes saw red cardinals land in our backyard. They were our state birds, and I always wanted to find a red feather, but they never left one.

Looks like a great blog you are creating. Lovely colors and graceful images. Welcome to the blog world!

  2. Hi Debra, thank you for your lovely comments. I have been to Canada a couple of times, and still have not met a cardinal; just missed seeing one in the backyard last time. Next year maybe? A red feather would be great.
