RED BIRDS

An early morning visitor came this week: a beautiful baby King Parrot.

I decided to use the photos to practice blogging on my phone in preparation for travelling.  Can I do it?

Well that was interesting: I managed to upload four at once.

Soon mother bird and father appeared and looked curiously at me in the kitchen.  They are shy birds, and soon flew away back to the bush.

End of Experiment 1.  Have a great week.

    1. They are gorgeous birds, and we see them only rarely. I was so excited to see a baby for the first time. One of the adults was funny, really looking at me through the window!

  2. Dearest Patricia,
You certainly managed very well to create this post from your phone!
I've always taken my MacBook with me as I don't use my phone for any blogging steps.
What a view such a King Parrot in red—enjoy.

    1. Thank you Mariette. I have never tried to blog on the phone before but thought why not try, the phones are very clever these days. I love to see the King Parrot from time to time. It is such a treat, and the baby was fluffy and so cute.

  3. What a beautiful bird sitting outside your porch area, Patricia. I love the red birds, and it's a dream of mine to see the red cardinal one day. I can't believe how many exotic and pretty birds come around your area. You took some nice photos of this precious bird.

    1. I have always loved red birds, and these are rare and beautiful. Hopefully you will see a red cardinal in the snow one day. I have seen them a couple of times in Canada - such a thrill.

    1. Ah, I am getting there, but cannot do the replies on the phone. I will need help from a technical son, methinks.
