GOOD FRIDAY

Musee de Cluny, Paris
To all the Readers of the Red Cardinal blog, wishing you a happy and holy Easter, 2019.

Love to all, and thank you for your comments and support over the years.  My blog is now in its eighth year.
I have valued your friendship, and loved and enjoyed meeting some of you on our overseas trips.

Opportunities for another blog meeting or two may come later in 2019.

Let the adventure continue...

    1. Happy Easter Michelle. Isn't it nice to have some cooling rain? Thank you for visiting my blog posts regularly. Eight years does seem a long time. While not as prolific as you, I hope to enjoy blogging for a few more years. xx

    1. Thank you Rosemary - how the years do fly by. Yes, we will be in Europe this year. We are flying around the globe for the first time, this way: Brisbane, Singapore, London, Provence, London, Ottawa, Vancouver, Brisbane. I am very excited about flying across the Atlantic. Hoping you also have special times at Easter.

  3. Dear Patricia, congrats on making 8 years here. Your blog, for us who read your always enjoyable posts, has been a lovely place to stop by and learn more about life in your beautiful and interesting country so far away. It's is a lot of work maintaining a blog, however you, like me, obviously enjoy it, so hopefully we will soldier on for many more years!

Where are you off to this year? I'm heading home soon and have a few other trips coming up through the year ahead, sadly not to your area though. We are still looking for an affordable cruise perhaps taking in Australia and NZ, as we really want to come back and see more.

Enjoy your Easter celebration - will look forward to reading more from you in the coming months.
    Mary x

    1. Dear Mary, thank you for your kind comments about my blog; I love to see your life and beautiful pictures on your blog also. We are going around the world: to the South of France to enjoy art and music, and on to Ottawa to visit our daughter. It will be a Grand Tour.
It would be wonderful if you could cruise to Australia, specifically Brisbane some time. Cruising is increasing in popularity and options, so fingers crossed. Happy Easter to you and your family. x

  6. Happy Easter, Trish! Hope you're enjoying time with Little Aussie and the family.

Look what's baking in my oven, something I remember Ms. C likes to eat. As you know my regular recipe is not as over-the-top, but for Easter I thought I'd give this fancy one a try: http://www.goodcook.com/carrot-bundt-cake-with-cheesecake-filling.

    1. What a great memory you have - yes, Mr C does like a good carrot cake. Happy Eater Debra, we have had a nice couple of family gatherings, and been to church to sing. Not seeing Little Aussie but I hear that he has some new chickens to play with :)
