Looks like all the last minute Christmas fun has been taken care of, and you are ready to enjoy the next few days. Enjoy Christmas, and I hope Santa is good to you...J
ReplyDeleteHi Judith, Thank you - family arriving tonight, so we take a different turn now. Let the fun begin! Wishing you all the joys of Christmas with family or friends.
DeleteOh I wish I was this organised! Very impressed that you made your own pudding and love the little plate and coasters.
ReplyDeleteSulky, I never made a pudding until my mother-in-law could no longer do it. After that, hubs just HAD to have his mum's special recipe each year. I am improving (slightly) with each yearly effort. Only organised because family will arrive within the hour - let the chaos begin - he he. Wish you the bestest of lovely Christmasses!
DeleteYour Pudding looks so festive and delicious, as does the rest of your holiday prep.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beryl, let's hope the pudding tastes good, but at least it looks the business. Time to start playing with the kids now! Have a great Christmas time in California!
DeleteI am so impressed with your organizational skills! Everything looks so lovely and now you can relax a bit and enjoy the family time. Will your dad be able to join you for Christmas? By now you should be out of Dec. 21 and on to the 22nd so perhaps the world is safe for now!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sanda, I try to be organised because I can't handle a big rush at the end! I do feel proud that the house is looking pretty and festive, and we are all enjoying the atmosphere. Yes, 22nd today, and All's Well :)) Dad will be at my sister's but we will visit for a while Christmas Day. He always enjoys the action. Enjoy the Season, Sanda.
DeleteYou really checked off a bunch of things on your list. That pudding looks so interesting, have often heard of such things but never tried one.

It is a bit like the old song, Making a List, Checking it Twice, isn't it? The pudding is a dead easy recipe, it is the wrangling with the cloth that is the tricky part! Sometimes the water gets inside, and that is a bit of a disaster!
DeleteThose particular Christmas crackers would go down very well in our house Patricia.... grandsons 1 , 2 &3 are fanatics....personally I fancy the pudding..it looks brilliant. Have a wonderful Christmas, after your difficult year.....you deserve a wonderful time. J x
ReplyDeletehe he , we have Grown Up Crackers for the adults, too! That pudding will be gone by the 26th, I can tell you Janice. Not mentioning names, but there are a few pudding fanciers around here. Have a wonderful Christmas too Janice, and a great New Year. Keep Well! x
DeleteI admire your skills as an organizer. Everything is tip-top. How many Xmas greetings have you mailed?
ReplyDeleteThe pudding remains a mystery for me, have you shared the recipe in the blog?
Wishing You and Your Family a wonderful Christmas amongst the charming Xmas arrangements!!
Thank you Mette, not all is organised, just that which seems important! I had not thought of the pudding recipe but now you mention it, I'll post it later today as it seems to have caused some interest.
Deletethank you for your Christmas wishes, and the same to you, over there in the lovely snow!
