Hi there,
The other day my Dad turned 92. Like all our family, he loves birds,
so I made him a blue cockatoo cushion, with fabric from Fabric Traders.
Just the extra touch needed to brighten up his room at the Country View Retirement facility.
Dad had a great day, and loved all his presents, and of course, the cake!
Our grandson Little Aussie was there too.
Later he became Mr Box Head, and rode his Big Red Steed, er, vacuum cleaner ...
We went to visit a perennial cottage garden, open under the Open Gardens Australia Scheme.
I came home with lots of ideas ...
Everything looked so healthy, well mulched, and not too bothered by our lack of rain.
We finished the day with tea on the verandah.
Delightful ...
