  8. Happy New Year and House to you from Georgia USA. We've been married 55 years (when everyone said it wouldn't last!) and could not even begin to think of packing, discarding all the stuff we have accumulated over the years, especially his 22+ bookcases full of mystery books! But, you are blessed for sure. Take care and Good Health in the New Year.

    1. It sure wasn't easy, Mother Em. We too had hundreds of books, and donated many to a charity. However we still kept two tall bookcases and our most precious items. Our new house is not tiny, and we each have a room of our own for writing, computers, art, sewing etc. Happy New Year.

  9. Hope you’re enjoying the span between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Trish! We are eating too many cookies. The rest of the year, we limit our desserts.:)

I notice goods are still quite expensive. After Christmas sales are not the bargains they once were. Thankfully, we don’t need too many material things at the moment.

    An early Happy New Year!

    1. Yes, indeed Debra. We were so tired after Christmas and now I have begun to hang some of the many art pieces we brought with us. Small steps! I too have avoided the sales, but will go to the shops for a few things today. Happy New Year!
